SICKNESS
ABSENCE TRAINING AND CONSULTANCY
This one-day programme is designed for supervisors
and managers and is concerned with the management of sickness absence
in the workplace. It provides half a day examining: the causes of
sickness absence; the tension between compassion and organisational
effectiveness; organisational policy and procedures; alternative
strategies; relevant legislative requirements and recent case law.
The second part of the day introduces the 'Challenge of Change'
programme described above.
DIAGNOSTIC
PROFILING AWARD
This Award is offered by Pitman Qualifications
and consists of three NVQ units - A21 (Identify learning aims, needs
and styles), C22 (Agree learning programmes with learners) and O69
(Initial assessment theory). Units A21 and C22 are achieved by a
portfolio of evidence to meet the performance criteria and other
stated requirements. Unit O69 is achieved by successfully passing
a computer-based multi-choice test on initial assessment theory.
Psychometric Technology provides the registration, certification,
training, assessment and verification for the Award.
